This connector series combines military-grade durability with audiophile-grade signal purity, making it ideal for aerospace, defense, and studio recording environments.The Phone Plug implementation provides galvanic isolation between channels. Differential signaling capability reduces common-mode noise by 30dB compared to conventional designs.Male options allow customized gender configurations per channel. The hermaphroditic contact design enables unique mixed-gender panel layouts.Supporting Mono topology, the connector handles AES3 digital audio protocols. Impedance-matched traces maintain 110 characteristic impedance 5%.Compliant with 6.35mm (0.250", 1/4") - Headphone specifications, the connector interfaces with NATO STANAG 3910 systems. The flared entry design enables blind mating in low-visibility conditions.The 0.249" (6.32mm) dimensions incorporate strain relief features. Kevlar-reinforced jacket withstands 50N cable pull force without deformation.2 Conductors, 2 Contacts arrangement supports MADI (AES10) multiplexed audio.
