This pressure-balanced backshell system maintains reliable connectivity at extreme ocean depths while resisting corrosive seawater exposure.As a One Piece Backshell, this component provides hydrostatic pressure compensation up to 10,000 psi while preventing hydrogen embrittlement in high-pressure hydrogen sulfide environments.Featuring 15 positions, the design supports multiplexed sensor arrays used in subsea production control systems while preventing seawater ingress.The 180° configuration allows for smooth transitions from rigid pressure housings to flexible umbilical cables without creating stress concentration points.Constructed from Brass, the housing withstands 20-year service life in seawater with cathodic protection systems per NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 standards.The Gold surface treatment prevents marine growth attachment while maintaining electrical performance at temperatures down to 2 C.Including Assembly Hardware, Cable Clamp, the assembly maintains mechanical stability under strong ocean currents and vortex-induced vibrations.
