The corrosion-resistant design is mandatory for under-hood applications.Engineered specifically for IC Sockets, the contact geometry prevents fretting corrosion (tested per EIA-364-26) while maintaining stable contact resistance through 100,000 mating cycles.Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) was selected for its 280 C reflow compatibility and low warpage characteristics (<0.05mm/mm per JEDEC JESD22-B112). The material's 3.2kV/mm dielectric strength exceeds LV124 standards.
